Ashley Madison puts $1M bounty on Tebow's cherry

The scoundrels who created the Ashley Madison Agency, the World's first dating site for cheaters, have offered a Million dollars to the first lady (or fellah) to get with Tim Tebow. Evidence must be gathered, of course. The agency will require proof.

We shudder to think what might be considered adequate evidence of the encounter.

In an NBA History post she published today (which was suggested by her fans on Twitter), Denver's enigmatic NBA Mistress

details the exciting 1994 season, when the 8th seeded Denver Nuggets took down the top seeded Seattle Supersonics (now the OKC Thunder) then coached by George Karl.

It's a fun and informative article.

Brian Dawkin's son, Brian Junior, is also on the team. He plays wide receiver and cornerback. The Senior Dawkins old the Denver media today during a press conference announcing his retirement that he might be interested in coaching at the school.

Jenny Cavnar's bangs are a home run

Jenny Cavnar's bangs are a home run

It has been a few days since we crowed about our favorite new member of the Denver Media, Jenny Cavnar, so today we pay tribute to her perfectly trimmed black bangs - which we are convinced will become the rage this summer.

We're waiting for Channel 9 weather hotty Kathy Sabine to adopt the look. Also, Les Shapiro from 102.3 ESPN might look dashing sporting a similar style. Photoshop users are welcome to assist us in proving this theory.

Kreckman coaxes Karl curse

Kreckman coaxes Karl curse

Sometime around 5:40 this afternoon, 102.3 ESPN's drive-time host, Nate Kreckman (a South Stands Favorite) caused George Karl to say "bullshit" on air by asking him about his reluctance to play rookies.

Karl set Kreck straight, pointing out that Faried has played as many minutes as any rookie on any playoff-bound team. Luckily, Kreckman's studio producer, Raj Sharan, managed to beep Karl on time to prevent an FCC fine.

Pro Football Talk has Denver selecting RB Doug Martin in round 1

With the 25th pick in the 2012 NFL Draft the Denver Broncos select ... Doug Martin.

This according to the third mock draft at Pro Football Talk. Theirs is only one of thousands of mocks, but Mile Florio and his team are pretty sharp. Florio says: "Tailback is quietly Denver’s primary offensive weakness." We shall see.

102.3 ESPN bans South Stands Commercial

Despite the South Stands blog being a proud sponsor of Denver Sports Nation Radio, (weekends on 102.3 ESPN), the station pulled our 30 second commercial from their airwaves.

Management at the station was aware that a personality from a competitor unloaded on Les Shapiro on our our podcast and decided that we were not worthy of being heard on their station.

We're in good company. These are the same people who decided to pull Vic and Gary's show in favor of Mike and Mike in the morning.

JaVale knocked the beard off of Kevin Love

The last time the Minnesota Timberwolves met the Denver Nuggets, Kevin Love's dome met JaVale McGee's pointy elbow. Love was concussed pretty badly, apparently. In his confusion he shaved off his beard in favor os this sweet disco 'stache.

Les is apparently much, much more "So Les can spare us his big-timer speak. I'm surprised there wasn't a "Mom’s basement" reference in there. But the simple fact remains that Shapiro, who makes a living stirring the pot (his anti-Tebow sentiment is well documented) and genuinely antagonizing listeners, doesn't like it too much when someone does it to him."
